How it all started?

It all started when I was searching for minimalist posters featuring Space Invaders and Pac-Man. While there is a decent selection for themes like architecture (often labelled “Bauhaus”) and films, video game posters are largely dominated by classic artwork. So, it made sense for me, as a graphic designer, to create my own.

When I showed the designs to a physicist friend, he told me how he had been looking for similar posters with scientific themes for his company but found nothing appealing apart from the obligatory Einstein’s theory of relativity. This is how the idea for Posterful was born—a small side project alongside my daily work at my agency, FeWoDesign.

As someone interested in architecture and product design in addition to graphic design, it was a natural step to start a small collection in these areas as well. I’m curious to see where this journey will take me. In any case, I’m thoroughly enjoying representing various themes in a more abstract way.
